We purchased our house in February 2007 with the assistance of Jen Zackeroff. Jen was very helpful in this whole process and the relationship we developed with her became a friendly relationship, where we felt she was more of a friend than just a real estate agent.
We were in the house searching process for a year and a half. At one point we got nervous about buying and backed away from looking. Jen spent a lot of time with us. Even though we got nervous and stopped the process for a while- she never acted as if we had wasted her time. Eventually when we started looking again, she was still there for us.
Jen was great about updating us if she thought we might be interested in something. She always met us at our convenience, whether it was a night, weekend, or in the middle of a snow storm. I feel she made every attempt to be there for us throughout the process. She was very timely, and got back to us soon.
After we bought the house and made some changes, we wanted Jen to see our updates. We invited her to stop in to see what we had done with the house. She did come over to take a look and share in this excitement with us- that's what I mean when I say she seemed more of a friend- yet still it was a professional working relationship. We just recently had our first child, and of course I had to send a picture of him along to her.
I would highly recommend Jen to any family or friends looking to buy. I plan on keeping in touch with her occasionally so that she is familiar with us and our family because I know that we will use her assistance when we buy another house in the future.
